Sometimes it is useful to create muti-part tests where different parts count differently. For example, a social studies teacher may wish to give a test that has multiple-choice items and an essay and then to weight the essay more. An elementary teacher may want to give several reading comprehension assessments and then to aggregate the score (so each assessment may count the same).
